Plain-English definitions of the terms used throughout this site and across Law of Attraction coaching. Built so you can quickly understand what something means and apply it — not just read about it.
Law of Attraction
The principle that what you consistently focus on, think about, and feel emotionally tends to show up in your life. Positive focus and feeling pulls in more positive experiences; negative focus and feeling tends to repeat negative ones. The Law of Attraction is a pattern of cause and effect, not magic.
Manifestation
The process of bringing something from thought into reality through focused intention, aligned action, and matching emotion. To manifest is to deliberately use the Law of Attraction to create a result — money, love, health, a job, a feeling — rather than letting it happen by default.
Vibration (or Frequency)
A shorthand for your overall emotional and mental state at a given moment. A “high vibration” is associated with feelings like joy, gratitude, and confidence. A “low vibration” is associated with fear, doubt, and resentment. The Law of Attraction is said to respond to your vibration, not just to your words.
Scripting
Writing in detail about your desired life as if it has already happened. Scripting forces specific imagination and emotional engagement, both of which strengthen manifestation. See our full guide to scripting for the technique step by step.
Visualization
The deliberate practice of creating clear mental images of an outcome you want, ideally with sensory and emotional detail. Visualization trains the mind to expect and recognize the desired outcome, which makes aligned action easier.
Affirmation
A short, present-tense statement repeated intentionally to shift belief. Effective affirmations are believable to you in the moment (“I am open to receiving”) rather than sweeping (“I am a millionaire”) if the latter triggers disbelief.
Discovery Call
A free, no-obligation phone call with David where you discuss what you want to manifest, where you feel stuck, and how coaching could help. The Discovery Call is for clarity, not selling. Book a Discovery Call here.
Abundance Mindset
The belief that there is more than enough good available — money, love, opportunity, time — and that another person’s success does not subtract from your own. The opposite is the lack mindset.
Lack Mindset
The belief that resources are scarce and that someone else having more means less for you. Lack mindset tends to produce lack; abundance mindset tends to produce abundance, because each shapes the actions you take and the opportunities you notice.
Gratitude Practice
A daily habit of deliberately noticing and appreciating what is already present in your life. Gratitude raises your vibration quickly and shifts focus from missing to having — which is the foundation of attracting more. See how gratitude amplifies manifestation.
369 Method
A specific scripting technique: write your intention three times in the morning, six times in the afternoon, and nine times before bed. The repetition is meant to build emotional momentum and embed the intention in the subconscious. See our full guide to the 369 method.
Receptivity (or Allowing)
The mental state of being open to receiving what you’ve asked for, without resistance, doubt, or trying to force the timing. Receptivity is what lets manifestation actually arrive.
Intention
A clear, deliberate statement of what you want, accompanied by genuine emotional commitment. Intention differs from a wish: a wish is passive (“I’d love it if…”), an intention is decided (“This is what I’m calling in.”).
Limiting Belief
A subconscious assumption that holds you back, often inherited from childhood, family, or culture. Examples: “rich people are greedy,” “I’m not the kind of person who…,” “love is hard for people like me.” Identifying and replacing limiting beliefs is a core part of coaching.
Synchronicity
Meaningful “coincidences” that show up once you’ve set a clear intention — a chance meeting, an unexpected message, the right book in the right week. Synchronicities are often a sign that what you’re calling in is moving toward you.
Aligned Action
An action you take because it feels right and matches what you’re trying to manifest, rather than because you’re forcing yourself out of fear or “should.” Manifestation usually requires aligned action, not just thought.
The Secret
The 2006 book and film by Rhonda Byrne that introduced the Law of Attraction to a wide modern audience. David trained directly under one of the contributors to The Secret.
Energy
An umbrella term for the combination of your thoughts, feelings, and physical state. “Working on your energy” usually means deliberately shifting how you feel and what you think so you stop attracting more of what you don’t want.
Mindset
The set of beliefs and habitual thought patterns through which you interpret the world. Mindset shapes what you see as possible, what you try, and what you give up on — which is why every manifestation result eventually traces back to it.
