How to Use the Law of Attraction in Your Everyday Life

Is there a way to use the Law of Attraction in your everyday life, and is it important to do that? The answer to both of those questions is one hundred percent “Yes!”

Most people think of the Law of Attraction as something you do when you want to manifest a specific thing, like more money or a relationship. But the truth is, the Law of Attraction is affecting your everyday life whether you’re consciously using it or not. Once you learn how to use the Law of Attraction deliberately, every day becomes an opportunity to attract more of what makes you happy.

What “Like Energy Attracts Like Energy” Means for Your Daily Life

My favorite definition of the Law of Attraction is “like energy attracts like energy.” What does that mean? It means that the feeling you’re putting out about something, and in general, is determining whether you’re blocking or allowing what you want. It also affects how you feel moment to moment.

If you’re feeling positive and happy, then since like energy attracts like energy, you’ll attract circumstances and experiences that make you happy. The same is true for the opposite. If you’re feeling negative, doubtful, or worried, you’ll experience more circumstances that match that.

I don’t know about you, but I’d rather feel happy as much as possible and attract circumstances and experiences that make me feel happy!

That is how the Law of Attraction affects our everyday life. It’s always responding to the feeling (vibration) we’re sending out. Not sometimes, but always. So if you’re someone who settles for just feeling blah and thinking more negatively about things, that’s what you’re going to continue to experience.

The Morning Intention: Your Most Powerful Daily Habit

As a first step, set an intention each morning that you’re going to have a great day. Even if you don’t know how that will happen, even if a lot is going on and it seems impossible, still set that intention.

Before your feet hit the floor, say to yourself: “Today is going to be a great day.” That’s it. By doing that, you start to retrain your mind to think about each day in a more positive way. Over time, this simple morning practice becomes automatic, and you’ll notice that your days genuinely do start getting better.

After setting your intention, spend a few minutes thinking about what you’d like to have happen for you. Maybe you want to attract money or a relationship or more clients. Maybe you want to feel more positive and hopeful. Whatever it is, think about what you want as often as possible throughout the day.

The Redirect Technique: Catch and Switch

Another simple technique to help the Law of Attraction work for you every day is to become aware when you’re thinking about something you don’t want. If you are, simply realize it, and ask yourself “What do I want?” regarding the thing you were thinking about. Then spend a few minutes thinking about what you want instead.

This is what I call the “catch and switch.” You catch the negative thought and switch it to a positive one. It sounds simple, and it is. But it requires practice because most of us have been thinking negatively on autopilot for years.

For example, let’s say you’re driving to work and you start worrying about a meeting. Instead of spiraling into anxiety, catch that thought and ask: “What do I want from this meeting?” Then think about the meeting going well, your ideas being received positively, and leaving the room feeling great. That shift in focus changes your vibration and actually affects how the meeting goes.

Understanding the Receiving Mode

We’re either in the resistant mode or the receiving mode at any given moment. When we’re in the receiving mode, we feel positive about what we want coming. We feel happy and light about things. When we’re in the resistant mode, we feel doubt, fear, and worry.

The goal of using the Law of Attraction daily is to spend as much time as possible in the receiving mode. You don’t have to be perfect at this. You don’t have to be positive every single second. You just need to gradually tip the balance so that more of your day is spent feeling good than feeling bad.

Here are some simple ways to stay in the receiving mode throughout your day:

Appreciate small moments. Your morning coffee. A beautiful sunset. A kind word from someone. When you notice and appreciate these moments, you boost your vibration.

Avoid complaining. Complaining is one of the fastest ways to drop into the resistant mode. When you catch yourself about to complain, redirect to something you appreciate instead.

Limit negativity input. Be mindful of what you’re watching, reading, and listening to. Constant negative news and pessimistic conversations pull your vibration down.

Practice gratitude throughout the day. Not just in the morning, but whenever something good happens, take a moment to feel thankful for it.

Use the Law of Attraction at Work

Your job is one of the biggest parts of your daily life, and the Law of Attraction applies there just as much as anywhere else. Before a meeting, visualize it going well. When you get a compliment from a coworker, really take it in and appreciate it. When challenges come up, ask yourself “What do I want to happen here?” instead of focusing on the problem.

Promotions, new opportunities, better work relationships, and even career changes have all come from making these small daily shifts.

Use the Law of Attraction in Relationships

How you think and feel about the people in your life directly affects your relationships. If you’re constantly noticing what’s wrong with your partner, friend, or family member, you’ll attract more of what bothers you. But if you focus on what you appreciate about them, you’ll notice those positive qualities showing up more.

This is especially powerful if you’re looking to attract a romantic partner. The more you focus on the qualities you want in a partner and feel good about it, the more likely you are to attract that person into your life.

What Happens When You Live This Way

Once you start using the Law of Attraction consciously in your everyday life, something incredible happens: life gets easier. Not because your problems disappear overnight, but because you stop attracting as many problems. You start attracting more solutions, more opportunities, more happiness, and more of what you actually want.

The good news is that you can deliberately change the way you feel so that you become someone who’s more positive and someone who feels happier each day. Once you have a positive expectation about how you want to feel and what you want to attract, everything lines up for it to happen.
