When people hear about the Law of Attraction, they sometimes wonder if it really works or if it’s just wishful thinking. One of the best ways to see the power of the Law of Attraction in action is to look at law of attraction celebrities who have openly credited it with their success. These aren’t just theories. These are real stories from some of the most famous people in the world.
Carol Burnett
Carol Burnett, renowned for her comedy career beginning with her 1959 Broadway debut in “Once Upon A Mattress,” attributed two significant life events to the Law of Attraction.
Before gaining fame, Burnett wanted to attend school in New York but had no idea how to finance it. Instead of worrying about the money, she maintained a strong feeling about this goal manifesting. She held the belief that it would work out. One day, she discovered a $50 bill taped to her apartment door, which was enough for her education at the time. She never discovered who left it.
Later in New York, after performing at a private party, a gentleman offered her $1,000 to support her dreams with just one condition: anonymity. Years later, she repaid him but kept his identity a secret. Carol Burnett’s story is a powerful example of how maintaining positive expectations, even without knowing how things will work out, can attract exactly what you need.
Barbra Streisand
Barbra Streisand is one of the most successful entertainers in history, and she attracted that success through maintaining positive vibrations about stardom. She believed in her talent and her destiny to become a star, even when others doubted her.
When asked about how she reaches difficult vocal notes, Streisand responded simply: “Because I think I can.” That’s the Law of Attraction in its purest form. She believed she could, and so she did. Her belief in herself attracted the opportunities, the roles, and the audience that made her a legend.
Jim Carrey
Jim Carrey is one of the most well-known law of attraction celebrities. Before he was famous, Carrey famously wrote himself a check for $10 million for “acting services rendered” and dated it for Thanksgiving 1995. He kept that check in his wallet and visualized receiving that amount for his work.
Just before Thanksgiving 1995, Carrey found out he would earn $10 million for his role in “Dumb and Dumber.” The check he wrote himself became real. This is one of the most famous manifestation stories ever told, and it perfectly demonstrates the power of visualization combined with belief.
Oprah Winfrey
Oprah Winfrey has been vocal about her belief in the Law of Attraction for decades. She has said that she has always believed that she could create her own reality through her thoughts and intentions. From her difficult childhood to becoming one of the most influential and wealthy women in the world, Oprah credits her positive mindset and belief in possibility for her success.
Oprah was also instrumental in bringing the Law of Attraction to the mainstream when she featured “The Secret” on her show. She openly practices gratitude, visualization, and intentional living, which are all core Law of Attraction principles.
Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga has spoken about using affirmations and positive thinking to manifest her music career. Before she was famous, she repeatedly told herself and others that she was going to be a star. She didn’t just hope for it. She believed it with her whole being.
That unwavering belief, combined with massive action and talent, attracted the opportunities that made her one of the biggest pop stars in the world. Lady Gaga’s story shows that the Law of Attraction isn’t about sitting around wishing. It’s about believing so strongly in your vision that you feel inspired to take the actions that bring it to life.
Ariana Grande and Lucille Ball
Ariana Grande has credited positive thinking and manifestation practices with helping her navigate the challenges of fame and continue to grow her career. She’s spoken about the importance of staying focused on what you want rather than what you fear.
Going further back in history, Lucille Ball and Phyllis Diller were also advocates of positive thinking and “new thought” philosophies that laid the groundwork for what we now call the Law of Attraction. These pioneering women demonstrated that believing in yourself and maintaining a positive vision for your life can lead to extraordinary results. You can learn more about the roots of these ideas in my post about the history of the Law of Attraction.
My Personal Story
I’ll share my own experience because you don’t have to be a celebrity for the Law of Attraction to work. I wanted a Mercedes GLK SUV, but it was initially more than I could afford. Instead of dwelling on that, I maintained positive feelings about owning it and even scheduled a test drive. I let myself feel what it would be like to own it.
A week after declining the salesman’s initial offer, the dealer called with a reduced-price option on their demonstrator model with minimal mileage. It was exactly within my budget. I drove it home that day.
The same principles that worked for Carol Burnett, Jim Carrey, and Oprah worked for me. And they can work for you too. Whether you want to manifest money, attract love, or achieve any other goal, the Law of Attraction responds to everyone equally.
What These Stories Have in Common
Every one of these celebrities shared the same key traits in their manifestation journey:
They believed in what they wanted before there was any evidence it could happen.
They maintained positive feelings about their goals instead of dwelling on obstacles.
They took inspired action when opportunities presented themselves.
They didn’t give up when results didn’t come immediately.
These aren’t celebrity superpowers. These are skills anyone can develop. Once you master Law of Attraction techniques, life only gets better. If you’d like to learn how to apply these same principles in your own life, contact me today. I’d love to help you start manifesting what you really want.
