Misconception 1: The Law of Attraction Doesn’t Work
Many people claim the Law of Attraction doesn’t work because they misunderstand it. The Law of Attraction responds to us all day long, every day. It’s not something you try for a few weeks and if you don’t manifest what you want you think it doesn’t work! I’ve coached a client who was seeking a life partner and saw results within a month of proper coaching, eventually meeting their spouse. The Law of Attraction does work – you just have to know what to do.
Misconception 2: The Law of Attraction Is A Short Term Influence
Since the Law of Attraction operates continuously, maintaining awareness of your vibration (emotional state) is crucial. Once you live your life from a Law of Attraction point-of-view, it only gets better! Consistent positive vibration attracts desired outcomes naturally over time.
Misconception 3: I Don’t Have To Do Anything To Attract What I Want
Deliberately maintaining a high vibration and focusing intentionally on your desires requires significant energy. Additionally, this focused state typically inspires action aligned with your goals, creating real-world momentum. You don’t just sit there and wait – you feel inspired to take action.
Misconception 4: Many Claim Knowledge They Don’t Possess
There are many so-called experts who lack deep understanding of the Law of Attraction. You have to live the Law of Attraction to really know about it. Surface-level knowledge is like incomplete maths fundamentals – it’s insufficient for genuine mastery.
Misconception 5: The Law of Attraction Is A New Concept
The term originated in 1891 with Prentice Mulford, and some believe biblical references to “like attracts like” predate modern usage. “The Secret” (2006) popularised it for a modern audience, but the concept has been explored by numerous authors throughout history.
